Shantique Gallery: Policies (Payment, Shipping, Privacy...)

SHIPPING

Domestic: We offer FREE insured domestic ground shipment within the United States. If desired, expedited shipping (Next Day Air, for example) is available at cost. If you are interested in expedited shipping, please email us at contactus@shantique.com for a quote.

International: We offer insured Priority Mail International shipping at actual cost; there are no "handling" fees or other charges. Expedited services such as Next Day Air are available at additional cost. Please be aware that most countries assess Customs Duties or other charges on imported merchandise which is the responsibility of the buyer. Shantique Gallery is not responsible for Customs Duties, Taxes, or other fees charged by the client's home country, or for Brokerage charges in the case of expedited shipping.

PAYMENT METHODS

There are several ways to purchase an item from us, you may do so by adding the item to your shopping cart in the Ruby Lane Shantique Gallery Store, you can order by phone by calling 1-630-289-4711 or you can email an order to us at order@shantique.com.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express through Paypal, as well as personal checks drawn on a US bank, Money Orders, or Cashier's Checks.

If you use Paypal or a credit card, your order will ship immediately. Money Order and Cashier Check payments will ship immediately upon receipt of the payment. There is a 10-day waiting period for personal checks to clear prior to shipment.

PRIVACY POLICY

Contact information including email address, telephone number, address, etc. which is provided by the user is used solely for the purpose of completing the order. This includes information pertaining to gift recipients. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address is used solely to bill the customer for their order.

1. Credit Card Security
The purchase area of our site is secure - we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure the information passed between your computer and our site is encrypted and thereby unreadable if intercepted by unauthorized people.

2. Personal Information Protection
We do not sell or swap any of your personal information. Nor do we want to violate your privacy with unwanted junk mail, unsolicited phone calls or faxes, or unrequested emails. We will only contact you at your specific request or as necessary to complete an existing order.

RETURN POLICY

Our return policy guarantees your 100% satisfaction with your purchase. If you are not happy with your item, you may return it for a full refund, as long as it is returned in the same condition as it was when it was purchased. Just notify us within 3 days of receiving your item and ship it back to us, insured and with "tracking", within 7 days of notifying us of your desire to return the item. Upon receipt of your return, we will immediately process your refund using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Please note: In the unlikely event that your purchase is damaged during shipment, please do NOT return it, as doing so will void the insurance. Instead, please contact us immediately.

INSURANCE

All purchases are fully insured by Shantique Gallery against breakage or loss. We do NOT use carrier-provided insurance such as that which is available from the Post Office or UPS, as they are unreliable when it comes to insuring extremely fragile and/or antique items. Instead, we use a standard merchant's Commercial Shipper's Policy underwritten by Navigators Insurance Company. (A copy of this policy is available to our clients on request.) In the event that an item arrives damaged from shipment and a claim is necessary, we refund our client in full without delay. Please contact us immediately at contactus@shantique.com if your purchase arrives damaged in any way.
